3. Which means, what exactly? KH battle system doesn't revolve around fighting armies. This isn't Dynasty Warriors.

4. Game length is a product of the developers, not the format.

5. Why would anyone "dumb it down"? Think before you speak.

 


If it were to be on another console than the wii the gameplay would probably look like the cut scenes in the game which are beutiful.

Just to get some stuff straight about the Kingdom hearts:

1) Combined characters from Disney movies and SQ-Enix games.

2) Disney only develops Nintendo games since end of 2006.

3) Disney has their own Nintendo exclusive dev studio.

4) Nintendo bought a new development studio for Square-Enix, which is making Wii exclusive titles.

5) SQ-Enix has the Kingdom hearts rights (Franchise name, development rights etc...)

6) Disney and SQ-Enix decide together on which platform the new Kingdom hearts will be released.

7) Disney helps in co-developing the Kingdom hearts games (Remembral: Disney ONLY develops for Nintendo since end of 2006... I thought the name of the development studio was 'black box studios' or something). 

8) The hidden trailer on the end of Kingdom hearts 2 DOES NOT CONFIRM KINGDOM HEARTS 3 FOR PS3... Some people say the graphics are too complicated for Wii! But: The trailer could just be FMV... Just like with EVERY SQ-Enix game showing FMV's to show a part of new games. Or: Just to get people hyped for a new game... Just to make people curious and get hype up!...

 

I.e.g: All the facts point out in the direction of the game heading to Wii... And maybe a spin-off to PS3 or DS.

 

And: I see some people in this thread making the argument: Square-Enix is loyal to Sony. THAT IS BULLSHIT! Square-Enix was loyal to Nintendo in the NES-SNES days... No-one could believe they went to PS1 with FFVII! But they go where the money is! Nes-snes / PS1-PS2 / Wii.

Wouldn't it just make more sense for them to make KH3 a PSP game and keep it with the Sony franchise instead of going to a Nintendo console? Yeah I can see it working on the Wii, but Square/Enix isn't exactly looking like they want to ditch Sony.

As for comments about the motion sensing control, as long as it isn't a cheap PS2 port or a flash produced movie game it should be fine. If Capcom can use the Wii's controls affectively, I would hope Square/Enix would at least be able to do the same, unless pro-KH3-on-the-PS3 members are suggesting Square/Enix lacks even the professionalism or prowess to use such a simple element effectively for one of their larger franchises.

While I would like to see a Wii version, I see no reason for us to think there would ever be one. I think it will stay Sony but putting it on the PSP would be smarter than the PS3, the game wouldn't benefit from the PS3's potential and would take four years if not longer to make. It's really depressing to see how the thread brings out the worst in people. It's either the stance of PS3 can do no wrong and the Wii is crap or that same argument reversed. Can't people just grow up?

 Well so far Sony just has the two FF games that was announced before release of PS3. So I don't see them in full support either (but on the other hand I don't see massive support for Wii or x360 either)

I remember reading about this as well. There was a headline on the website of Finland's biggest gaming magazine that said: "Mickey Mouse games from the Mickey Mouse company coming to the Mickey Mouse console."

Unsurprisingly there was much nerd rage from Nintendo fans, and it got changed within hours. Mickey Mouse used as an adjective means pretty much the same as "kiddy" in Finnish. =P

He NEVER said graphics. Link or it didn't happen. The next KH isn't KH3 either -_- Probably PS3 spin-off (the Knight's story).

Yes, actually the game to be anounced at TGS is the spinoff as was stated by Nomura about 100 times.  So it will be on the PS3.  We will probably have to wait till next year's E3 to see where Sora's story continues.  Of course by then the Wii will be so far ahead that it's chances will sky rocket.

Yeah, so i'm pretty sure that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be on the Wii and that the spin-offs will be on the PS3 simply because it makes more sense for SE to do that (business-wise).

If there are multiple titles on both platforms then it might be to Sony's disadvantage.
If SE release a KH for Wii and another KH on PS3, and subsequently see sales of the Wii version succeed while sales of the PS3 version fail, it will signal to developers which one has the better prospects for this type of game. Developers would be hard pressed to continue supporting PS3 with Japanese favorable non-adult oriented games if KH should fail.
