did you guys even play the first 2 games? the first one was a classic, and a great action/rpg game.

the 2nd was such a letdown, graphics took over game play, but the story was good.

if the answer is yes, then why do you care if its on the ps3 instead of the wii. your still gonna play it. same if it goes to the wii, sony boys.

Well, I'm a Nintendo fanboy, who, having heard how good they are supposed to be from PS2 owners, wanted to play these games but couldn't. I couldn't play them because they weren't available on Gamecube. SquareEnix snubbed gamecube presumably because of the discrepancy in install base on which to sell, despite what demographic effects and perceptions there were at the time. PS2 owners enjoyed rubbing my nose in it. Now the Wii is clearly selling well, and making a game with a significant Japanese audience for any system that isn't from Nintendo seems relatively silly. The demographics for the system probably work. Why not do it? They may find a new fan in me.

Err...no. This is wrong. Sorry. I know I'll own a PS3 somewhere down the road, but you know there's people who cannot afford a PS3, or already have the Wii/Xbox 360 and will not care about the other consoles.

Now, there's the person who said KH pushed the graphics on the PS2...that's so flawed, I cannot comprehend the unreasonable logic behind this.

And finally, I want KHIII on the Wii. Sure, I'd kill for PS3 quality graphics. You see, sometimes I remember a game, take Super Mario Sunshine, with amazing, vivid, bright and colorful graphics. Moving smoothly, awesome. But the game's not like that, I know. However, I cannot see KH with these kind of graphics. KH has huge jaggies everywhere in my HDTV. So what? It's still playable, and I enjoy it.

I'll say this: if KHIII looks anywhere near (better?) to Super Mario Galaxy (almost the representation of Super Mario Sunshine in my dream), then that's good enough for me.

The secound one was a letdown?! What are you losing it? That game was the best thing to ever come to the ps2. I want the story of kingdomhearts to continue even if it is a wii exclusive I will buy a wii for that game.

thats your opinion and i respect it. i thought kingdom hearts 2, was real easy, and offered no challenge at all. the dialogue was horrible. You don't need to plan a strategy before each battle anymore, since donald heals you or mickey saves you, and the gameplay relies even more on button smashin thatn the first game. What happened to the optional hidden bosses besides sephiroth. The sidequests were rather dumb and simplistic, I think square-enix tried too hard. The first game is a million times better than the 2nd one. Read reviews, every gaming site agrees, kingdom hearts 2 doesn't feel like the first one. It's lacking that "something" that the first game.

 

I would love to see it on the Wii. I would get this game. And why not port the old games over too? Pick up some more sales.

I repect your opinion as well sorry for bringing it up, but the gameplay, camera angles, story, graphics, length,bonuses, everything was better on kh2, I have both games, kh is good and all but it doesnt compare to the 2nd one and I'll check on gamespot and ign for reviews.

KH2 was definitely the better game. Much better gameplay. Easy, but still more refined than the original.

1. It'll have higher graphics, but if it's like the KH2 FMVs it won't necessarily "look better" due to the clashing art style of cartoony Disney movies and super realistic HD graphics.

3. Which means, what exactly? KH battle system doesn't revolve around fighting armies. This isn't Dynasty Warriors.

4. Game length is a product of the developers, not the format.

5. Why would anyone "dumb it down"? Think before you speak.
