You need to get rid of that mindset.

I think Sony needs to pass out an order for everyone to shut up for 6 months or something.

Other than the price point that I don't like about PS3 are the garbage spewing from all those execs.  

Tell me if anyone else agrees with these general demographics. I want to emphasize general, as in there are exceptions, and these trends aren't absolute.

Wii demographic:

4-12
25-75
40 percent Female / 60 percent Male 

PS3 and 360 demographic:

12-25
20 percent Female / 80 percent Male

Anyone disagree? If so, feel free to criticize!  

I would say 4-12 is for Xbox 360 and PS3 too Mr Bodhesatva.

Most of my little pre-teen cousins have PS2/Xbox and are begging their parents to buy them PS3/Xbox360.

I know guys, but nintendo made the wii for a younger audience, hence the name "Wii". But it expanded through older adults age "16+" rather quickly thats why it is now known for everyone.

The name "Wii" is a play on words of the word "We". So from the beginning they wanted to include everyone with their new product.

I agree. The interviewer basically said: "Say something mean about your competition."

In relation to target audiences, I would say Playstation *2* was for everyone(things like Buzz, Singstar,etc) , but atm, the PS3 is too pricey, and has a narrow variety of games to be for everyone.
