When the Wii and 360 are out of production and the PS3 is the only current-gen system is being produced.

Hrmm, I guess it really depends on the Wii's supply, but I'll take a gamble that Nintendo will up production and say never this generation.

I think everyone that owns a 360 has already pre-ordered Halo, so I don't expect that hardware to spike tremendously.
For PS3...
The month that FFXIII comes oout could be the kicker.

We are just looking at the MS / Sony games. What about the Ninty games?
WiiFit will probably move a million systems if they are available.

I'm with a lot of people here that it depends strongly on Nintendo's production. If they can up production levels sufficiently, they may never sell less than their competitors; if they don't, December of 2007.

What month how about what year i say 2009 Depending when people get over the trendyness,

thers no way its going to calm down as fast as a few months Posable sometime in 08 depending if X360 Price drops to around $299

When the prices Drop is when the system will start to fade, that or when every one ownes one :)

Lasted about 2 years then every one owned one and they got tired of the hype..... I hope the WII does not have one such Fate.

The time span is so broad and too many Variables to really say, I thx it will slow once X360 sales go to $299

So eather some time in 2008 if that happends

Or if they Give Ps3's away with serial boxtops

or when every one owns one, Thers no other way it will slow down.

I dont think this Gen will be layed Just by Games, Prices is the the Point set hear and all 3 consoles are producing great games so they cancel out each others high and low point sales, Yes This system has good game this month So So system will have Great Game next month to make sales evan again...

But PS3 is just having to many low points to hert WII sales
X360 has Heat issues and bad Press and Semi High Price

WII falls into the bugdet of average Joe but supply constraint.
