The arcade has reached the £129.99 and the $199.99 price-point but the sales haven't been earth shattering. So what would sell better a $199.99 pro console or a $199.99 Elite. And what console if priced at $199.99 do you think could rival the wii's sales? I'd think the elite could match and possible exceed the Wii in weekly sales.

No console could rival the Wii's sales at that price point at this time. The Wii crosses across all demographics and is being bought by everyone from teenagers to grandparents. The Wii rivals the original Atari 2600 in popularity.

no way the wii is going to outsell everyone they have got alot of new people playing games but all of those people can be swayed next gen

Nah, I agree with the above posters.. it wouldn't matter, they wouldn't sell more than Wii. Right now you can get an Xbox360 for 50 bucks less than a Wii and just take a look at weekly Wii vs XB460 sales.

199 Elite bundled with free Wii.

the 360 would beat the wii if it was bundled with ds.

arcade will compete with wii.

so just bundling arcade + GeOW2 or other amazing line up games for xbox 360.

Meh... no console can outsell the Wii.. beside.. the DS of course. lol. But that's not a home console, so...

I think Elite would sell about 3% better than pro at $200. I think a fully BC $200 PS3 with a LBP bundled in and The Dark Knight Blu Ray disc bundled in would outsell the Wii for at least 3 weeks, and then settle at about 65-70% of sales of the Wii (and Wii sales might drop somewhat)

yo i hate what-if's. I'm not gonna even respond, other than saying IF they were all the same price, the PS3 would easily double the wii's sales.

but they aren't, so the wii will continue to sell better till the PS3 gets more system selling games (SOCOM is a good start), and till they drop the price.
