Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What's Nintendo working on? Even more Wii and 3DS games.

Whoow, liking this thread very much! Props to trestres...

And I guess Nintendo is cooking up a lot of stuff in-house. They haven't said much since, well, 1.5 years or so. Last years' E3 was a fluke and there's like 20+ talented groups of devs there that are able to craft games from the caliber Zelda and Mario. So I'm hoping Nintendo will drop a megaton-bomb on E3 and trample the competition with their updated line-up!!!

This thread gives me hope that Nintendo will put the sweet dishes on the table once more!!! E3 can't come soon enough.

EDIT: Did Matsuno really end up at Nintendo?!... That's something pretty big that I never knew! Cool!

I second that motion, a final fantasy killer is kinda farfetch, but with him working with Nintendo kinda threw the word out the window.

We might actually see a Kingdom Hearts game, Nintendo Style!

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

Dragon Quest Wars added.
Developed by Intelligent Systems.

We should wait until E3 for any announcement. This week Takt of Magic gets released in Japan and Punch-Out gets released in the USA.

21 teams with unknown projects... too much. Only 4 with known projects, out of which 3 are DS games. Where are the Wii games??

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Yeah, third party games are becoming more common, 1st party games on the ohter hand are becoming very rare. Who would have predicted this?

Wii Fit Plus is almost confirmed, but I won't add it yet, so we know that EAD 5 has been making Wii Fit+, but something that worries me is that to make Wii Fit a considerable amount of people from the Zelda team was used, so let's hope Wii Fit+ isnt what delayed Zelda Wii, anyways, as it's set for fall (according to Nikkei) Wii Fit Plus should no longer take people aways from the Wii Zelda project, so it can be ready for an E3 2010 reveal to be launched during Holidays 2010.

Well, if Nintendo has some new games to show, we should take a look at the free teams, with the info we got, we know that only 5 teams got games coming (if you count Wii Fit + as confirmed), out of which 3 are for the DS: Zelda: ST, Pokemon G/S Remakes and Dragon Quest Wars.
For the Wii : WSR with M+ and Wii Fit+.

My bet is that we will see Mario Party 9, developed by Hudson, which won't take up any dev team from Nintendo, as it's third party. Art Academy, well, that could be made by EAD1 for example.

Well, this was a strange E3, a lot of MArio games present.

Still not much news on Nintendo's projects, we have the confirmation of:

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: The Minis March Again, developed by NST
New Super Mario Bros Wii, developed by EAD 4 most probably
Wii Fit Plus, developed by EAD 5
SMG 2, developed by EAD Tokyo
Golden Sun 3, developed by Camelot

No Pikmin, no Zelda, no Retro Studios game, no Monolith, Intelligent Systems, HAL, Genius Sonority, EAD 1, Sora, Alpha Dream, etc. Still a mistery what this guys are up to, and there was no confirmation on any of the October conference games making it here either. Hopefully later in the day we have some.
