The 360 has had a boost, tis all. Wait a couple of weeks for a return to normality
I like it when someone quotes the obvious i.e. "The 360 is now outselling the PS3 in Japan, the USA and Others/Europe." then goes on to extrapolate one or two weeks worth of sales while ignoring the fact that sales of the system are spiking due to a price cut.
Wii will sell twice as much as 360 and PS3 combined, as it has done, more or less, since launch.
If Sony don't cut the price, it'll be a draw between the 360 and PS3 this Christmas worldwide I reckon and I base that prediction on no more than gut feel.
I am largely platform agnostic. I fail to understand why some people get overly fanboyish about what is an inanimate piece of electronics that's obsolete even before it's launched, when there are far more important things to champion, such as preventing environmental destruction or preventing millions of people dying unnecessarily from illnesses. This fact however, doesn’t mean I am not someone who doesn’t enjoy gaming as a pastime (as I have done for the last 20 years) or doesn’t have a strong interest in how the market is evolving – hence my presence on this site.
Platforms owned – PC, DS, X-Box 360, PS3, PSP and Wii.

Man alot of funnys especially wii needing to lower their price to compete.
Even if the 360 was $100 it would still loose to the Wii.

Nope. Both are systems with almost no online capabilities. The PS2 wins on basis of the best game library ever.

the 360 might have found a audience in japan. If m$ floods the market this holiday it might win this year I still think the demand for the wii is still higher but It will be who can put more of there console in the store .Sony going to lose this holiday It going to be like the gamecube In that nobody want it
It's great seeing the 360 doing so well, considering all the talk regarding how even with a price cut it wouldnt beat PS3 WW. The Wii is a beast and is clearly the choice this gen, but 360's goal of staying in 2nd, is becoming more of a reality!

I think you need to edit your post as you made a major typo. I think you meant to say "I don't see the 360 being able to compete..." rather than "I don't see the Wii being able to compete...". If you did mean what you wrote then you need to stop drinking that microsoft gin as it seems to be causing brain damage.
