The 360 is now outselling the PS3 in Japan, the USA and Others/Europe.
In the UK it is flying off the shelfs and it is looking like it could be a fight between the 360 and the Wii this Christmas for the number 1 spot, though I don't see the Wii being able to compete unless they drop the price to around £80 at most..
1. Recent price cut? what did you expect? the PS3 still outselling it?

plus PS3 is more than twice as expensive as 360,,,,,also the price drop just happened last week.
The price drop happened on the last Two days of last weeks chart 18th to 20th Sept not this week.
We all know that the PS3 is far to expensive and that is the point, with recent news that Sony have lost more on the PS3 hardware than they have made on the best 5 years of PS2s hardware sales they cannot afford to cut the price any lower and they better hope bundles can save it.
And as for the Wii, the 360 sales will get bigger as Christmas closes in and the Wii is expected to price drop to around £150 which will not be enouth as you can now get a 60gb HI Def Xbox 360 for that money....
Just watch as Fable2,Gears2 and Banjo Kazooi+N64 Banjo included all kick in with the 360 prices...

yes on ps3forums, there is a thread with info that some uk store have a huge demand.
i think xbox 360 have advantage right now to attack at both side, the arcade will steal from wii, and 60GB from PS3
The Arcade is still such a terrible deal, no HDD takes away so many of an HD systems pluses (like being able to download anything substantial off of XBLA)...I could see getting an Arcade as a secondary system only. Not as a primary. I would just pony up the dough for the better model.

actually i like the arcade idea, now imagine with the price so cheap, almost everybody tempted to buy second x360 for what, maybe for local co-op, like halo3 or other game. also maybe for different area in the house.
i like it.
You can like it, but it still sells bad. The Premium is still the best seller out of the three.

i agree the arcade is the worst idea this gen. there should be no hardriveless units it limits games too much
