according to this site,
Palin killed Biden. :)

That link took me to a poll that asked if Western Civilization was winning its war against Islam...I doubt that website is a disinterested party.

I was just looking for a right-wing web site to see how they saw the debate and thought it was interesting.

CNN and other sites are liberal sites, no?

Random internet websites = biased as CNN CONFIRMED!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

The channels are fairly liberal... I've never really seen any bias on their websites.

All the democrats on this site say Biden, and all the Republicans say Palin.... shocker.

I am voting for neither party and I say Biden won this handily.

I stand corrected. Fox news has Biden winning. When fox news has the Democrat wining, then they must have won...

And Jackson50 has Biden winning too :).

From my personal perspective, I have Palin winning, only because I would rather vote for McCain then Obama, but I was worried about the country if McCain died.. after the debate, I am less worried.

For me, this was less of a debate, and more of a chance to see Palin answer real questions. She did better then I expected.

I think Biden won. He also connected well, he had his story about his wife dying, and about talking and going to home depot. Palin exceeded expectations, and thus managed to stop the bleeding from her Couric interviews. But, with the economic crisis and the last 8 years of Bush incompetence people are looking at substance ALOT more, and this is where Biden won handily. He easily deflected almost all of her attacks and made good counterpoints. Many of the time she dodged his allegations and repeated the same attack he refuted. This is why I think Biden won.

Palin. She did what she set out to do and swayed undecided voters. In addition, it can be said that Biden portrayed himself more "Gore-ish" because of his sighing.

^ How would you know that?

TV undecided voter interviews.

What sighing, I head one sigh and it was not on something that was very controversial. He was jovial during the debate, and when not smiling (not in a joking or threatning manner) he had a very neutral face. Plus, in the CNN interview in Ohio more of the now convinced undecideds were going to vote for Obama. Lastly, one that was leaning McCain now is totally undecided now.

I would say it was a narrow Biden win in terms of impact, though in purely technical terms (say, if it was just a practice debate in a law school) Biden definitely won. I read somewhere (can't find the ****ing article in my massive weppage viewing history) that 64% said Biden did better than they expected and 84% said Palin did better than they expected. Nice huh? Anyway, since nothing earthshaking happened tonight, we can now get back to our regularly scheduled programmingthe run-around of the election..... (Nov 4 can't come fast enough.......)
