I still got the assugly old DS and wanted to buy the lite for a while, but i will probably wait now. Lower Batterylife is not so good though...

At this point I don't know. I was planning on getting a handheld. Not so sure anymore. And if I do, I dunno whether it will be DSi or PSP 3000. Both seem pretty good. I don't think I'll have to make the choice for a while though. DSi is definitely an option.
I've had a DS a few months after original lauch. I had a DS Lite this year. I'm pretty happy with my Cobalt. I will get a DSi for sure, but I think I will wait and see what the Download will be and if the homebrew scene can make it replace my breaking PDA. Sooner those 2 conditions are met the sooner I will get one.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
well I wasnt gonna get it but then I saw the cool features on the camera so I might change my mind, I will definitely wait until i see one in action though, I dont really need thoes extra features
If at first you don't succeed, you fail
Defintly, I like anything new from them, I have my Original DS, DS lite. A DSi to the collection would be crazy but I would love it.
Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,
mario maker
new 3ds
yoshi woolly world
zelda U
majora's mask 3d
I'm not buying it, I bought a DS Lite to play games, multimedia functionality is all my mobile.
If I wanted a multimedia device that played games as a secondary, I'd stick with my phone, heck I can even use it as a phone to call people! DSi can't do that.
EDIT: @Halogamer1989: Are you trying to say Jimmy Carter is black?
I really want one, but Toys R Us has a 25% off sale on the DS lite now, I'll probably be buying one later today... wish they announced this later
I may donate the one I'm buying to family when the DSi comes out & pick it up if it looks good and doesn't cost too much more.
i will get DSL when DSi hit in europe - lite should get nice price cut then. yet i will buy DSi too for DSware games, applications and DSi specific games.
- 30-40% less battery life
- Loss of GBA backwards compatibility
-slightly thinner.
-low res camera
Larger displays, always a plus.
Two touch screens means nothing until new games implement usage into gameplay.
SD slot only there to re-sell GBA games through the Nintendo Channel.
No need to buy one until:
A) Current DSL breaks (won't happen)
b) Price drops to $100 or less and it's bought on impulse
Unless A) or B) happens, no need to upgrade.
At all.
I doubt it. I never have been attracted to DS games, so unless the 2 touchscreeens bring something really interesting, I won't buy it for games. And I'd prefer buy another device such as a phone for the new "multimedia" abilities.
They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts
