But it does look better. Even if the colors are still dimmer than the HD version (and that didn't hurt RE4 on the PS2, did it?), the traces of an actual lighting engine showed up.

As for Monster Hunter 3, I'm amazed a far away cam racording still conveys how advanced the graphics are.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Isn't it incredible how one off-screen trailer and 5 seconds of gameplay footage can completely change the way you feel about a company? ;P
