Forums - PC Discussion - Do you change volume on your computer, or do you turn knob on speaker?

If you are using external speakers, do you leave your speakers at a certain volume, and change the volume on your computer, or do you leave the volume on your computer at a certain level, and turn the knob to change your volume?

I use my volume button on my keyboard ^^

Always use the knob on my speakers...I have a little wired remote for it. Much faster than going to the volume control on the taskbar. Plus there is a possibility of sound distortion if the volume is set to 100%...sometimes it's better to leave it closer to 90% and use the speaker knob.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

On a more serious note, I use the knob to set max desired level according to circumstances then I manage the computer audio level.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Usually the speaker remote, but sometimes the volume knob on the keyboard (which is tied to the windows volume control).

I have a volume control on my keyboard, so I use that.

Gosh its not as simple as that :P

I adjust the volume on all my seperate programs for relative volume - I like music louder than movies for example

Other than that I try to keep the volume at my computer in the middle so that when I want to use my computer's remote I have the widest range of volume control
