DMeisterJ said: Yeah, some effect. Almost back to pre-price drop levels in America.
Japanese sales fell hard from last week.
And it's still losing to PS3 in Others. |
And the PS3 is still losing WW even though its had $200 cut from its orig price and its the best blu ray player.

Wow.
Still living in 2007 eh?

No, its just that SONY fanboys start attacking the 360 when it drops in price saying how desperate MS is although it hasn't had that big of a drop compared to the PS3. Now they say wait for when PS3 drops to $299. It seems they're always waiting for something.

Werent 360 fanboys saying that once the 360 uses its price advantage and hits $199 it would be all over for the PS3? I really don't see that right now, and next week will acutally most likely be close, with the PS3 potentially pulling ahead with its advantages in Others and Japan.
And when you are already the cheapest console in Europe after a price drop THIS YEAR yet you drop the price yet again, is that now desperation? If the PS3 were to hit $199 in NA do you think it would ever sell less than 100,000 a week? Demand is higher for the PS3, if it were higher for the 360 they wouldn't have dropped the price in the first place.
