I was happier living in blissful ignorance for years knowing that my N64 was the best video game system, selling and quality, but now VGCHARTZ has ruined that reality for me.

Because I love numbers, I love gaming, and I enjoy seeing how the market numbers will reflect in the future success/failure of certain publishers.

If a great new/old publisher is having success with the sale of their particular, game, or conslole. It bodes well for the consumer. Better games, lower prices, better consoles, updates, ect.

Plenty of people here are invested in these companies, such as John Lucas iirc. Others like numbers, like TheTruthHurts. Most people are probably here combining two interest of theirs (games and business) in a way that doesn't require a Master's degree.

OT: I like to see how well my favorite 1st party is doing [SONY]. Thing I hate about this site are some of the Users. Am starting to like Nintendo less and less because of this.....
