You get called a graphics whore when your contribution is "These graphics aren't very good. I no longer have any interest in this game"
Personally, I don't see how they're any worse than ToS' visuals. They certaintly arent. The point is, you should wait to hear some impressions on the game before you completely write it off.

If anyone thinks I am a graphics whore, then I just have to say that you're wrong. If I was a graphics whore, I would only have interest in games with a realistic look as graphics whores tend to shun anime/cartoony looking games. I am not writing off the game, I am just stating my opinion about the grfx. I am not even sure if I will get the game yet.
I agree that the graphics aren't technically impressive, and could be compared to FFX(some things it does worse some things it does better), but as of 4 months ago the game was only 30% finished. We knew this game has been in development since 2007 at least, meaning that it took them that much time to get 30% done. Which means that they have plenty of time to improve. Anyway I think the art direction looks excellent enough that I wouldn't care too much of the low quality textures, and low polygon character models(which I bet will be fixed by released). The game is turning out great so far and my second most anticipated wii game after monster hunter 3. Hopefully some gameplay at TGS.
Yes sc, yes after Monster Hunter, good. =)
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
