I put ghost recon 2 in my ps3 but there was no response i put mgs4 in and it worked so i put ghost recon 2 bck in the ps3 still no response i tried cod4 and now the ps3 wont accept any discs i cant put any discs inside the console.

what do i do?

Try resseting the ps3 by holding the front power button

No response? as in the bluray disk icon doesn''t pop up? Check as many as DVD and bluray disks to see if anything else has the same problem. If you see an error pop up that starts with "801", then you're boned and will need to send it back to Sony.

If it's the 801xxxxxx error, then it's just a matter of time before all disks become unreadable.

ah sounds like the old days of disk read errors in ps2/xboxs.... always new when i had worn a unit out.

ur ps3's blu ray laser is messed up u need to send it to sony if ur not in warranty its 150 dollars

ya it sucks took like a week and a half to get mine back

i think you could fix it ur self if u have a spare blu ray laser sitting around

this happned to me. Get all your save data that you want to keep onto a memory stick, then do system restore. And it will come back.

This. Happened to me. At first BD's stopped working and I was stuck playing DVD's and CDs [PS1 and 2 games worked fine...]
Then about 2 weeks later discs wouldn't spin. Am waiting to get my console back from SONY right now....
