Demo is great on Xbox Live but I have a feeling this game will do abysmal numbers being overshadow by Star Wars FU. 

PURE is a quad racing game / trick combo.  If you every enjoy game like SSX , it's a lot like SSX but with 4-wheels.  A lot of cool customization, thing to unlock, very pretty graphic and really nice racing physics.

I am so sad that no one pick this up on Vgchartz,  but I do understand there are just so many game out.  I got 5 games the last two weeks (not all mine, some were my kids game that I "borrow" , loan from family members ) but there sure are a lot of game already out .. next month is going to be crazier.

Anyway, i don't know why this game has had such a luke warm bordering on tepid treatment, i thought the demo was excelent too. a tad insane the way it takes liberties with the physics but it sure was a great way to kill a few hours.

I hope the sales do well though, i'd like to see more titles like it

I played the demo and thought it was fun and optical very appealing, but to me it seemed it lacked some racing game elements, like breaking (I didn't have to break ones throughout the demo .. there are only 3-4 corners which can't be taken while boosting and that's all), like competition (the demo was very easy - I got 1st place on the second try and on the first one I was a close 2nd although I misjudged many jumps) and it was a bit disappointing, that although you can see pathes which could be a short cut you can't take them and are resetted onto the track instantly, so there isn't much of a real "off-road" component either in this game.

As a relaxing trick game with nice vistas during the various air times it's a nice experience, but it didn't seem to be a real "racer" to me.

Well, I think a bit of the potential PS3-Pure buyers will be holding out for Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (myself included), so I think PS3-version sales for it is going to be a lot lower than that of the 360-version.
I think you have to factor in the "new IP" into the equation as well.
So all in all, I agree that the sales are probablt going to be below expectations.
I don't really like the tricks aspect of the game, which is why I am holding out for MS:PR, I just want to race offroad without needing to build up my boost with tricks.

For the "pure" offroad experience, get Motorstorm: Pacific Rift.

GRID, PURE and countless other racing simulation series are being over looked on the Xbox 360.
Star Wars is a huge series and an unknown racing IP would get over looked by X360 gamers.

Sad that new IP's sell worse than sequels, know we see why companys pop out so many sequels. I will get this for christmas demo was pretty good

OT: I'v never played PURE, but by way of reviews I'm guessing that its better then most racing games released for a while. This is another example of a game that deserves to be better sales but doesn't get them.

I just bought it, but is has Dutch voice over damn Disney. Seriously I'm so pissed right now.
