In my opinion, yes the gameplay was better than Bioshock's.

Once again, in my opinion yes, the gameplay of R2 is better.

Gears 2 is too boring, so R2 trounces it for me.

Here is a little secret: It does.

Gears of War 2 and Far Cry 2 are far superior looking than Resistance 2 in terms of graphics.

Forget all the stupid 360 troll bots bashing anything PS related in the last twenty pages, this game is fucking art. The campaign is golden, and thousands times better than the first. For example, holy crap Nathan Hale learned how to talk, and he's bad ass. Theres a huge amount of varying enemies, from the savage grimms running suicidal towards you, to the immense ravagers that pave through the battlefield. Incredible selection of weapons, having varying amounts of rampant arsenal with awesome roots from ratchet and clank. Not only that but every weapon has a secondary function like explosive rounds of the magnum or double barrel shotgun fire. Im talking about weapons that owns anything you shoot at, next to it, and behind it.

Another thing, the freaking enviroments are so detailed and colorful, its like a paint truck got in a multi car pile up with a traveling circus. The stuff you see while walking through the enviroments, so deftly grim, abnormal, disgusting, graphic, horrid scenes, an alternate 1950's america on the brink of extinction. Not only the music, but the sound effects add to the touch of making such believable enviroments; your footsteps makes different noises wether your stepping on flesh or grass or rocks or corpses, its always different and distinct.
There's also the rampant chatter on the radio of the host going mad with the invasion, the dialogue of the in game charecters, from the snarls of the chimera, to the screams of your comrades ghastly yelling for a medic.

This game has so much to offer, what i mentioned above was my personal experience of first player campaign, i have yet to try it with a friend. For all the troll bots out there, quit putting down fantastic masterpieces. Go now my fellow PS haters, go play your so called exclusive games on xbl to make yourselfs feel better.

Resistance is hideous. And here I was thinking that jaggies were a thing of the past.
It also had some of the most boring art direction ever.

Leviaton was impressive though...

I think there is something wrong with YOUR eyes. He clearly said that he didn't care about graphics, and that Resistance 2 was the better game overall. He never said it had better graphics...

I do agree with you on the awesomeness of BioShock, though. But BioShock was released in 2007, it can't win Best Shooter two years in a row, now can it?
