1 million copies isnt a failure at all, and its continuing to sell very well. Despite having a slow start both motorstorm and the original resistance have sold well over 3 million copies.

RESISTANCE 2 to the critics "metacritic" has better gameplay than left 4 dead, some like it more than gears 2 gameplay wise, visually it doesnt beat gears 2 thats a certain fact. But resistance 2 did have some nice visuals, and bioshock doesnt look better imo. (Yes I own the game on ps3).

Regardles, sales are high especially in Europe for R2 because Sony is giving it away.

Buy a PS3 and you can choose two games for free among R2, Motorstorm2 and LBP.

No artificial padding going on there at all, no siree bob them al be legit sales.

lol, things turned out rather dismal for R2, after reading the first few posts. The graphics weren't as remarkable as Uncharted imo, and the upclose textures and hallway level design really took the immersion out of the single player campaign.

Overall, a good game, not great. Why was this bumped?

Resistance 2 doesn't have a "good" single player campaign. In this day and age, that's very important, as it should be.

I was talking about Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2. Come on, it's all opinion. Not like I ever said Gears 2 is a bad game, in fact, it's hella fun and great stuff, but just a little too similar to the previous installment for my taste, while I think Resistance 2 improved upon almost everything.

Also, I even said in a later post that Bioshock is the best shooter on any console, and it's my personal favorite shooter of all time. Yay for opinions!

 Too short, too easy(even with Vita chambers disabled on hardest difficulty) exhibiting all the UE3 engine faults, stupid ending where you are either Ghandi(with violence) or worse then Hitler, a hodgepodge of Ayn Rand and Jules Verne that does not know what it wants to be etcetera.

Bioshock should be renamed Biosuck.

You can't compare Bioshock that easy with Resistance 2. Agreed that Bioshock has a great singleplayer and is better than resistance 2 but what about the multiplayer and the ton of options that you have? Resistance 2 belongs in the category of the last two COD games where you can spend 10's of hours online. Bioshock was fun but after my first playthrough I didn't touched it any more.

Now? Easy resistance 2 thx to the multiplayer. It is like they said on Screwattack.... Bioshock may be better than COD 4 but witch game are you still playing? ..... Exactly.
