Sony really should try to buy Level 5 though it'd be an extremly smart move on their part.

I agree, buying/teaming up with level 5 exclusively would be the smartest move they could make this gen, that and of course the godfarther of Metal Gear! although mr. Kojima already has a strong partnership with sony so...

I would say Square Enix, but lately they've been pulling a fast one left and right so...atleast Mr. Tetsuya Nomura is still Sony bound so maybe one day SE will get with it.

And lastly i really wouldnt mind if sony bought out a small percent of capcom, not for exclusive games but rather for Exclusive downloadable content from the PSN if you get my drift... *cough* RE5 *cough* :D

LOL!! And where do you plan they get the money to buy a studio. Once they earn back all they lost on the PS3 I think they start buying studios. Therefore, this will never happen.

Yeah, because Sony DIDN'T buy Guerrilla Games and Zipper Inteactive in 2006.  Or Evolution Studios in 2007.

If Sony were to ever buy a JRPG developer (and I'm sure they're eyeing a few, given their current situation), it would most likely be Level 5.

And Dark Cloud and Prof. Layton are not "lame series" by any means.
