Yes Halo 3 was bundled and if you bought the HD-DVD drive you got 5 free movies.  I guess M$ has to give shit away too.

Wow wow wow. Wait up. Are you aware that Resistance Fall of Man sold more than that? I would say pretty much everyone who bought RFOM would buy R2, plus some new people who see that the graphics don't suck any more and that there is not 8 player co-op and 60 player competitive.

I'm going to say

7 million Gears 2

5 million Resistance 2.

And the fact that you can compare Resistance to Call of Duty- it's like comparing Age of Empires to Warcraft. They may be the same broad genre, but they are extremely different games. In fact, a game like Resistance is not very common on PS3- most FPS games on PS3 are killing humans.

Also, the large majority of PS3 FPS games suck. The only good ones are Vegas, Bad Company, Resistance and COD4. And UT3 I guess. Of all of those, only UT3 is remotely similar to R2 (other than RFOM obviously)
