"Good points Paul, did you think those up yourself?"
Yes, I did. Now here are more illustrations. I have heard that the Wii's cpu runs at less than 1000 megahertz a second (I've actually heard that it runs under 800 Megahertz a second which puts in squarely in the last gen as the first XBOX's cpu also ran in the 700 megahertz a second range). Now the 360 has 3 cpu's that run at over 3,000 megahertz a second, the PS3 has 9 cores that run at a simililar or faster speed, and my laptop purchased in the Summer of 2007 is an Intel Centrino Duo. So it would seem to me that seventh gen consoles and computers have as one of their most innovative features more than one cpu working in tandem to deliver their processing power. If the Wii doesn't have these kinds of unified cpu's, then it can't be a true current gen console.
My most anticipated games: Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort. Cave Story Wiiware.
