What REMake 2?? That's nonsense, who ever hinted at that? Capcom is getting money to fund RE5, where a team of 400 people are working. They are using the Wii userbase to fund RE5.
The next step is RE2 and 3 ported from the PS1 with waggle to open doors or use the knife, cool!! This is just the saddest thing to ever happen on the history of videogames. I CAN FREAKING BUY REMAKE FOR 10 bucks.

OH GOD YES. I'm in the "RE2 is the real pinnacle of the series" camp, so I'll be all gay for this. UC was a proper laugh in co-op and a great omnibus for the 0 / 1 / 3 story arc, so something covering 2 and 4 MUST HAPPEN. gnnnnh.

And 5. I also promise that the Chronicles 2 will have 5 in it, and that there has been some collaboration during the RE5 process.

Quite the contrary. The entire budget for this is probably the salary of two guys for three weeks. Selling a thousand copies would be profitable; over ten thousand is just money in the bank. Doesn't mean I like it, per se, but since it's probably not detracting any serious resources from Capcom's other projects, I don't see the harm in it either.

Capcom's reputation.... and that's all I guess.

If porting Street Fighter II to the original Gameboy didn't put people on notice that Capcom will port anything anywhere for the sake of a quick buck, then nothing will.

Street Fighter II in general set my alarm bells ringing.

lol, the difference is that Street Fighter was bad in most part because of the Gameboy limitations. This one because of laziness.

Well capcom is the port king. There sure leave no uncharted waters unsailed. My nest question is How many versions and editions can we expect of this one till they release "the whole game: no we're serious this time...for now"

At any rate, If the control scheme for 5 suffers the same lapse of functionality that 4 did (in reguards to the fact you can't re-arrange the buttons so using the gun case makes sense), then I'll probably get the Gamecube version. I don't see why I even bought Wii 4 edition to be honest with you, I play it with the GC controller. The visuals are the same, so why not. If it comes out multiplatform than I'll go with Nintendo to support Mikami, though I might sin-bin it anyway just cause I still hate Capcom for that whole mess.

So for me, COOL!!! New game for my poor hungry gamecube!
