Its good a decent ad push behind it and Nintendo is publishing the game so I think it will do okay but not spectacular. I'd say around 20 to 25k the first week and 70 to 85k lifetime.

judging from last week i think pokemon will take the shine off quite a bit. more than wario less than FF. 25k

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I agree with Chirzum and Darc. This seems like it will be a cult hit.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I don't have a clue. I am more interested in the western sales. I hope this game sells good.

I also hope the game is successful in the Western Market. I want Monolith to be rewarded for doing something different than making another RPG. Having a diverse library of games will make a developer more profitable in the long run and I would like to see a sequel to this game along with some RPGs for the Wii.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

Ok, latest famitsu has it rated 31/40. Same as Wario, so does this change anything?

Im still going with 25k
