No offense or anything, but I'm not going to trust any ancient Egyptian knowledge, that's hard to work it out as it is, from Wikipedia! Plus, we know we don't have complete records, mostly complete, but it's still not the whole thing.

Your sources were posts from another forum and a religious blog, so I dont see how my Wikipedia quote that references academic articles is bad.

So you aren't going to trust what Egyptians, Babylonians, Hittites, and Greeks wrote in stone, but you are going to believe a bias document written by a single people that has absolutely no backing from other sources.  We aren't debating blind faith, we are debating facts and history.

So the main reasons why believers, believe is due to personal experiences and not believing in the science. Anymore?

 science can't explain "life"

*highwaystar101 recalls a biology lesson from when he was 5 and every one since"

Yup, I'm pretty sure science can explain more about life than believing in "her" can.

i'm copying and pasting this because it's all i have :) "we can't be a coincidence this whole world can't be a coincidence, the way the planets are orginized can't be a coincidence the way ur body live and functions can't be a "coincidence" -plz read into human physiology and u will get what i mean- if i tell u that there was an airplane that flew all the way from africa after it took off and then landed on america with no pilot, u wouldn't believe this how about these planets these galaxies that are orginized in a way that no one can explain , not even the big band theory"

Is this a hypothetical scenario or something that happened?

The way the planets are organized is entirely a coincidence, just like it is in other star systems.

Our solar system started out as a rotating disk of hydrogen and heavier elements.  Gravity caused the Sun and planets to form the way they did, Jupiters massive gravitational pull prevented a planet from forming between Mars and itself, a large object smacked into the Earth and created the moon, and Earth was lucky to be the right distance from the sun so water would be stable in its liquid form.

no it didn't

but it's similar to this "and Earth was lucky to be the right distance from the sun so water would be stable in its liquid form."

and to this "Organic creatures started off as inanimate organic molecules and went from there" to become a human? do u know how "greart" and how "incredibly" the human body is????

 a coincidence?

Yes.  There are countless planets out there, and with there being a hundred billion stars in our galaxy alone, there are probably a lot of lucky planets like Earth.  Our star is the average, run of the mill star afterall.  Move Venus out or Mars in and they would be the lucky ones in the habitable zone.

And PMs are great :)

No. Folks can see miracles too and believe - and it just doesn't have to happen to them.

I know a lot of folks who can't explain something happening to someone else and started believing. Even Paul was on his way to carry out some murderous threats when he was knocked down. The guards with him witnessed it too.

Science can prove there is a creation. It's coming - I know a cat who said in the '60s there was a magnetic field around celestial bodies. Folks laughed at him - but he said God told him. Guess what? 30 years later, his theory was verified.

I'll tell you something else this man said God gave him. Want to find the cure to disease? Create a microscope and go down to the micronuclear level. That is creation itself. You build a powerful enough microscope, and you will see life - and cure every disease known to man.

Need sources? PM me.
