Microsoft.

@El_Patras: uh... no? It was SONY that got Sega out of the business.

I'm pretty sure that if the super nes had failed, sega would still be a main company, if not THE company right now.

Anyway, sega also had alot to do with putting itself out of buisness.  Must I look further than the sega cd or the surprise launch of the saturn (not to argue and say that sony didn't play an important role in the death of sega)

The PC.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

SEGA if they made consoles again or Microsoft because I still like RARE.

Pixel Art can be fun.

do you mean there was never a Nintendo, or they just suddenly vanished? Half of my childhood would just big blurs of black then.

video games probably wouldn't exist w/o Nintendo, but if they just picked up smoke, I'd probably pick up a xbox or ps3.

No handheld though.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the best Zelda title ever made.

"The Person Who Got the Closest to Winning the 1st VGC VC Giveaway, but still lost"

I'd become a purely PC gamer. I already almost am, only other console I really enjoy at the moment is the DS.

Well, if Nintendo didn't exist, that would mean that the video game market would be incredibly small (presuming no other company would've entered the race, anyways). Only Sega would be here, and who knows what they would be like without competition.

...

Now, if you meant Nintendo stop producing games and systems after the last generation, then I'd have to go Microsoft. While Sony didn't directly kill Sega, they're f*ckers anyways. Microsoft as a whole isn't much better, but at least their games division isn't so arrogant.

The BuShA owns all!

I would probably stop gaming, as there is barely anything on the other consoles I would like to play.

MS because of LIVE and games.

Proud owner of all three consoles and handhelds.
