Why can't Microsoft make a good experience for the general public.  All their blockbusters are M.  Sales data should be researched on how the rating has an effect on sales.  This is a site interested sales data and this is a very big issue for hollywood

My 6 year old brother plays M rated games.

It has a lot of good/evil things... there is child bearing as well as the ability to do some very sick and vile things. I think the rating is for the far evil side then for the balanced view of the game.

Parents aren't informed enough about game ratings for things like this to drastically curb sales. Everybody knows what PG-13, etc. means, but most people don't know M, T, and E.

The more M rated stuff, the better, imo. I'm dead to violence. I watch porn all night, and investigate brutality all day. I prefer the M rating because it prevents things from being left out of the game for no reason, like Blood. I don't think M rated games have a superiority over E games in any way. I just don't want my games censored so a tween doesn't have to get his mom to buy it for him.

I'm sick of the second hand citizenship and kiddy stigma videogames have. There should be new, quality, AO rated videogames, just cause I'd like to play MK as a naked chick sometimes. Why the hell not. All the "only kids play videogames" stuff is crap. There is very vulgar food, music, movies, clothes.

My god, everything that could possibly have a vulgar version has one, except videogames. It's an unfair steriotype(sp?) and I for one, and sick and tired of it.

Hot Coffee should have been in the damn game in the first place. It's rated M, that means kids can't play it. If these sorry parents can't wrangle in their kids from playing a videogame(which requires an expensive videogame console, and a significant amount of time to play it), then how the hell are they keeping them from listening to vular music, or from watching R rated movies that they can buy easily.

It's bullcrap, based on a stigma and a generalization 50+rs have about videogames and their purpose or lackthereof.

We need at least one high tech pornography game release on principle, and I don't mean a cheesy ass flash porn anime game like I play at work. I mean a real, million dollar plus porn project for adult gamers to purchase and play.

Fable had a "12" rating in Germany. I hope the sequel will have the same here

Maybe all the stuff about being able to marry multiple people, give STDs to others, have children, kill your friend's wife..... those might lean towards an M rating
