Upgrade, Im not due to buy my 2nd hand ps3 and my 2nd hand ps3 games until 2010

Saturn 1994 , Ps1 1997
Dreamcast 1999, Ps2 2002
360 2007, ps3 2010?

3 year cycle

I would shrug my shoulders and remember that my PS3 has been in the shop for 3 months and likely the 3 RRODs would have cost me nothing whereas I could have bought about 4 games with the cost of the PS3 repairs.

Please lock this thread because it appears to be just some desperate PS3 fanboys begging for people to buy a PS3 and taking cheap shots at the 360.

Yeah , i see your quote, its lifted directly from the dude who made the ps3 v 360 comparison on youtube........... that video sucks and is biased as hell.................

 

ps2's used to break just out of warranty (ie after 13 months) at least if somthing happens to my 360 it gets repaired for free

people still bought a 2nd or 3rd ps2, so why wouldn't 360 owners buy a new 360 or wait for it to be repaired?

 What do you mean still buy them? The RROD is replaced under a rather long warranty entirely free. It would require little of my time and absolutely none of my money. What is sad is people throwing out wildly inaccurate claims and then trying to insult someone else over what games they enjoy. Perhaps you should open up your mind and accept that not everyone enjoys the games you do.

The free warranty isn't nearly as long anymore if I recollect correctly.

I'd send it to MS to be fixed and as soon as it got back, pack everything 360 related into a bag. Drive to GameStop, trade it all in and join the dark side.

What I don't get is how 360 fans always say 'little of my time.' Little of your time..really? So 2 weeks every time you send it in is little of your time? It's amazing that Microsoft actually has you believing in this crap. If you started with a PS3 and never had to deal with that, you'd have a different opinion, because you'd have never had to of sent your console in and got a 'refurbished' one back 2 weeks later.

ps3....my x360 rrod 5 times...i can't even sell the shit....get the ps3, you won't regret it :)
