The free warranty isn't nearly as long anymore if I recollect correctly.
I'd send it to MS to be fixed and as soon as it got back, pack everything 360 related into a bag. Drive to GameStop, trade it all in and join the dark side.
What I don't get is how 360 fans always say 'little of my time.' Little of your time..really? So 2 weeks every time you send it in is little of your time? It's amazing that Microsoft actually has you believing in this crap. If you started with a PS3 and never had to deal with that, you'd have a different opinion, because you'd have never had to of sent your console in and got a 'refurbished' one back 2 weeks later.
