Forums - Nintendo - Ubisoft CEO about the Wii

Are any of the seeminly huge number of titles under "Tom Clancy" any good? I played around with a Splinter cell a while ago, it was very slow, but I liked playing with the heat-vision goggles and few other gadgets, didn't really play enough to rate the game.

Expect more turds from Ubisoft after this announcement. This guy is a clown, he just talks crap and bullshit. F*** you Ubisoft.

Isnt Tenchu being published by them?

Unfortunately.

Perhaps then, if Tenchu does well, Ubisoft will see that "core" titles make money also and will open their eyes beyond the scope of Petz and Ravving Rabbids (though I do love the latter series)

G.R.A.W

Fantastic third person series. The two games were my favourite on the 360 console up until the consoles third year. I'd love seeing what they can do with that on Wii.

Ubisoft is just seeking attention because the hatred of Nintendo fans has shifted towards Wii Music lately.

For saying that ubi is going to make 42 more music games.

The first Splinter Cell game was very good.  I recently rented one of the newer ones, though, and thought it was pretty bad in comparison.  Ended up not playing much of it at all.

I don't know about many of the other Tom Clancy games though.

Which newer one did you play?  I haven't played much of DA and it didn't seem that good.  Pandora Tomorrow (2nd) wasn't anything special but it was alright.  Chaos Theory (3rd) however was an amazing game and one of my favorites last gen.  Another game like that would be an instant day one purchase for me.

I'm glad they're actually addressing the issues for a change, Ubi made Prince of Persia for petes sake they get a second chance in my book for that, hopefully he's telling the truth and they'll make really great games in 2009.
