Disc Based, not Live! please.
See my wife bought Timeshift and it turns out she doesn't like it. I do but it's "her" game. So with 7-day return policy I've got until Sunday to essentially demo + it. She admits it's a very interesting game, and the visuals really are quite stunning! but it's a little to hardcore for her. I guess this is where the intuitivness of players who aren't gamers are over-looked by the developers. This is where I can see that perhaps it might not be such a good idea for game companies to create soley for "us", because to those who weren't "born gaming" it can be a pretty steep learning curve.
I'm posting this thread because I doubt that she will. Her attendance on this board HAS been lacking lately.
I'm tempted to press her to get Eternal Sonata (cause it's on my list, but right now it is behind Fable II, Galaga Legions, MK vs. DC, Guitar Hero WT, and a couple other titles so I can't get it myself anytime soon). So if SHE gets it.....
Any suggestions?
It doesn't need to be all that basic, and she likes M rated games (you all probably knoe that) so no restrictions there. Just something thats not too intimidating structurally and/or assumes you can pretty much figure out the functions without it bieng explained. Thanks
