I just noticed that Wii Music and LittleBigPlanet are releasing in the same week.  With that being said, I think that it might block PS3 hardware sales.  Do you still think LBP will be as much of a hardware seller with Wii Music in the market or not?   Also which will have the bigger debut?  I see Wii Music selling more and actually moving consoles.

Anyone "offended by this game's existence?"

LittleBigPlanet won't boost PS3 sales anymore than a couple thousand. I'm sure that PS3 sales will boost coinciding with the holiday season (so will all of the other consoles, coat hangers, sausages, bike helmets, and crossbows), and that LBP will be said to be the cause of it. Wii Music is more likely to provide an actual boost to hardware sales, but it will pale in comparison to the boost the Wii will get simply from the time of the year.

Wii Music will sell more first week and lifetime, and move far more consoles (but quality likely won't be an argument so it's only a concern of those who care more about sales than gaming).

I really hope LBP is the game of all games.

I mean wii music brings nothing innovative, it looks terrible, most people that have played it think its a joke.

Yet just because it says wii on it, people will buy it, what people? I honestly dont know.

I'm quite offended by Wii music's existance actually.

You should match up Nintendo's best with Sony's best because that is fair. Wii Fit, Wii Sports and Mario Kart are the big drivers for casuals and they will continue to be for some time.

Why is LBP a casual game?

I dont really....well, idk whats gonna happend, but im looking foward for other games. These 2 are not special....not it all (imo)

 If memories serves, the developers in an interview talked about its accessibility.  I remember one saying something about his mom being able to pick it LittleBigPlanet up and play it.

I'm fairly sure this game is casual.

Is there any other reason though. I cans ee that being a reason for it to sell ridiculously well but not as a reason for it to push consoles.
