1. The 360 sold more in August in Japan, than in April, May, June and July combined.

2. The 360 sales for each month have increased every month since April.

Thats a trend in my book.

==> this is a 5k/weekly trend (im just guessing this number)

nothing stellar so far

Time to Work !

Ha ha, wow... impressive. Well done MrStickball.

I was very doubtful this would happen, but Famitsu has been low on Wii lately... althought it also had the lowest numbers for X360.

Wow, off the hook! :O
I wonder how the WW sales are gonna be once we have had the 360 price cut in Europe with everything stabalized.

The Wii is doomed in Japan, just as Bruce predicted.

Wow, I've been away for a while and the world is a different place. Well done MS, congrats.

The key is not just the price cut but $200.00 is the price point when it goes mass market.

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

I think with the price cut, The DS might be next, heh MS. You surely know how to play ball.

just wow.
wow at the fact that even in japan, the 360 is getting all the games where the ps3 isnt getting anything.

its suprising that the 360 beat the wii (though I'm sure thatll be over by next week.)

I'll be very interested to see what Media Create and VGC have to say on the matter given that 1,600 units is maybe a 6% spread and potentially within Famitsu's margin of error.

The question is how long the numbers will sustain.  Alot of this is pent up demand from the shortages, so I don't think 360 can stay above even PS3 levels (~8-10k) for too long on this "one big RPG every 4-6 weeks" train they are riding right now.

27k is actually an increase for Wii from last week by Famitsu as well which is interesting since it means One Piece had some impact.
