Let me end this dispute by saying that the PC has 28 games that are ranked 90%+ and they are missing a llot of the older games. So the point of who has more and better games is just moot since it depends on the person's preference. Obviously enough people find the Wii library better since there are so many people buying it. Obviously the PS3 will get a bit higher rankings since developers won't just throw money in the wind for the hell of it, a lot still do though. Both consoles ahve 5 games of 90%+ as well so yeah.

 Dude you told me to compare the games rated 90 or higher on the wii and ps3 then see the "real" story.

I told you it doesnt matter if its exclusive or not, its the game library a console offers that matters, not whether its exclusive or not, sure if its exclusive it will push console sales, but the fact of the matter is that if the game is on the console, its well  a game on the console.

Also I may only be 16 by Im far more un biased than most posters on this site..

but again if the game is multi, you have two choices. Thats why some people go for the X360...but in wii's case, they just have that option. Important part of games being exlclusives...they play a big role. You want it or not. That's why the wii sells better (to some point of course).

 Dude most of the wii's "exclusives" that are ranked above 90 are on the GC, or ps2.

We arent taking that in, im comparing a console's library, not whether the game is exclusive or not, sure they may both have a descent amount of 90+ games, wii having 2 REAL exclusives, compared to just 1 on the ps3. Though even with that said, if you look at the library in general the wii is seriously behind.

I dont find it logical that it happens to sells so well with such a horrible library, thats all im saying.

unbiased....says the one that claimed that GTA4 was gonna "kill" the wii....yeah dude X-D

Comparing each region individually from launch, PS3 is far behind PS2 sales pace except for Europe, and Wii is far above Ps2 in all regions.

 

Remember that the PS3 has not even completed it's world wide release yet.

He's referring to Twilight Princess, RE4 and Okami.......but with MP3:C, Brawl and Galaxy, it's not most, it's half (which isn't a big difference).

He decided to combine them and look at exclusive games @90%+, which isn't a particularly bad thing to look at, and you'll see that he did in fact concede that the Wii has more exclusive games than the PS3 above 90% (he actually said 2-1, but he forgot MP3:C, which I reminded him of).

He said most wii games above 90% were not exclusive, but it turned out to be 3/6, so half (which is essentially the same thing, since we're talking single digits).

Regardless, I care very little for review scores. One of my most favourite games received only 58%.

Very Bold statement there. The DS didn't have great support its first few years and for a while there the best thrid party game was a castlevania game. The PSP actually had better support it took a hounding from games like Brain Training and Mario Kart DS and the ensuing explosive product base to get to that level. The PS3 and 360 have delayed goodness in there third party exclusives and every month that wears thinner and thinner. KZ2 is coming out within the year and FF 13 is coming out effectively ending the announced games from the first part of this gen.

 

By this time next year I expect more third party support for the Wii than the 360 or PS3. What the Wii will not have is the complete dominance the PS2 did in the third party field.
