Forums - Gaming - Microsoft: We'll always take on Sony's first-party titles

LOL!

MS should understand the difference between buying exclusives and actual internal development... Just cuz you publish a game does not make it first party.

But I agree with the fact that Microsofts second party would own Sonys first party, but were not comparing that.

Yeah it's great PR speak but there is plenty of truth behind it. I'd take MS first-party titles over Sony anyday.

IMO, 1st Party only is:

Nintendo>Sony>MS

Sony is a couple of developers away from equaling Nintendo, and MS is way behind IMO.

Considering Sony has far more first party development going on than Sony you'd be missing out on alot.

Socom

Resistance

LBP

Motorstorm

Naruto

I think Sony has this december.

It's amazing that when MS pull an obvious PR stunt everyone spots it a mile away, but when Sony doesn't it, it's a complete fact and they aren't exaggerating at all.

Also, I would take MS exclusives any day over Sony's, but Sony's lineup this year is much more versatile and on average better (I'm going to say Gears 2 will be the biggest exclusive game these holidays)

@Million
360 have big games too like Gear 2and many others. I think Gear2 will be the biggest selling game this holidays.

microsoft should watch their mouths and stop being so arrogant, it doesnt take a genius to realize how much of an advantage sony has over MS with its first party studios.

Look at my top five most wanted. I would love to see MS battle back hard, but I can't see them making anything soon that will directly take on LBP and GOW3.

Good point -  Sony's announced games for the next 24 months is better then MS's announced games for the next 3 months...

Release dates are irrelevant to the list. If MS had games that big that I wanted coming int he next 24 months they would also be on the list...It just happens that Gears of War 2 is one of only a handful of games I am anticipating for 360.

I didn't know Sony owned that IP...

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I like how Killzone went from Halo Killer flop, to over hyped 100% CG sequeal from E3 2005, to vaporware, and now its a tripple A game.
