Forums - Sony Discussion - THEORY: Tales of Vesperia on PS3.... when no one cares.

It is likely to happen, if you look the specific description of ToV on the general namco bandai site you'll notice that in the news section they always refer to it as "Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox360" http://www.namcobandaigames.com/news/press/press/307

You will never see the word "exclusive" or "exclusivity" on games which are only time exclusive or with a strong potential to be ported.

But when you look at an exclusive title, like for instance Cudcept Saga or Naruto Ninja Storm they will refer to it as "exclusively for Xbox 360" http://www.namcobandaigames.com/news/press/press/272, "exclusively for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system." http://www.namcobandaigames.com/news/press/press/282

Interesting point, guess only time will tell.

Possibly. I really think it will depend on how Eternal Sonata does. Isn't the Tales of Vesperia engine an enhanced version of the one powering Eternal Sonata?

I am thinking that the PS3 will get it's own ToV game.

Playing and finishing games first>>>>>>>>>>Then talking!

Just like Eternal Sonata...

How many agree with me that it will happen?

Haha when I read the topic title I immediately thought Eternal Sonata. I click, and voilà.

I for one, agree. I'm guessing it'd be a little longer than Eternal Sonata's wait seeing as how ToV's selling decently well.

PSN: chenguo4

ToV is a much better game though... just look how many units it shifted on a console with what 700k install base in japan

Funny, cuz I care about ES (and know many others that do and will buy it for PS3) and from wat I see, ToV is a better game so I'm pretty sure that IF it were to come out for the PS3, me and the ppl that I know care about ES will care about ToV.

I'm pretty sure Soul Calibur IV has shown that the ps3 can move plenty of software for Namco. Eternal Sonata's sales in Japan (it releases there in just three days) should further back this up.

A port of Tales of Vesperia is only a matter of time.

Day one, man.

Though I may be biased since I'm a musician.

Tales of Vesperia looks great too, but I'd prefer Eternal Sonata out of the two at this point.

I don't care even now, but it will come to PS3. I'm still curious to see if Ace Combat 6 will get ported.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
