Forums - Nintendo - wii music may not be terrible:O

LAWL. Another Wii fit, Wii play and Wii Sports. After the bashing after E3 the game actually turned out to be good, and became a instant multi million seller and have legs, then the cycle again after Ninty introduced a new game that never liked by the hardcore. Come to think of it, I think i might buy this one since it didnt need a peripheral like other music(rhythm) games...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

No one bashed Wii Sports after E3...

This game actually looks like it has some redeeming value--I want to try that conductor mode (mentioned on page 2 of the first blog).  It actually looks less like a game OR a toy and more like a 'creativity tool'.  I agree with the comparison to the music mode in Mario Paint.

Still, there's a very low chance I'll be picking this up.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Except Wii SPorts by loved by one and all at E3....& Wii Fit was also loved by one and all...

with Wii Play....you are correct

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I somewhat knew this game wouldn't turn that bad as what I though it would be, and yes I will be getting it also when it arrives next year.

I find that bit about it being "more fleshed out" at PAX than at E3 interesting. Nintendo is a very customer-oriented company (though the fact that they focus on all customers instead of just core customers seems to irk certain hardcore gamers). I suspect that they really did pay attention to reactions at E3 and adjusted the game a bit to accommodate for the naysayers.

This actually sounds like more of a challenge than Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Anyone can press a series of notes as they fly down screen, that takes simple muscle memory and solid eyesight. Wii Music demands you listen to the music, add your own elements, splice in rhythms and different percussive instruments, and indeed create your own version of the music. That takes legitimate talent.

My Games of 2011:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Super Mario 3D Land

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

yeah so may not be bad. i believe that wii sports resort wil be better tho

nintendo fanboy, but the good kind

Nothing could save this train wreck. They have dozens of ads on gametrailers and the models look always bored to death and slightly embarrassed.

I'm not so sure about that... I think he was giving his personal experience more than anything. I could be wrong, but from what he said in the article, he didn't seem to give any info we didn't already know.

Another Wii Music thread. Fantastic. I was I ever going to make it through the day without seeing something about Wii Music. I might have not survived.

Thinking about it maybe it's a good thing there is at least 1 Wii Music thread everyday for the last week or so. Maybe by next week everyone would be so sick of discussing the crap/toy/game/rubbish (whatever it is) that by the end of this week no one would be interested again and I will never have to see another Wii Music thread (at least until it gets released).
