Which do you think will happen first?  The Wii outselling the N64 or the DS outselling the GBA?

N64-32.93 million

Wii-32.14 million

GBA-81.24 million

It'll definitely be the DS, since it doesn't have as far to go and it sells faster.

Actually the Wii only has .79 million while the DS has .93 million to go.

I agree with you though.

Wii with a region specific data coming in, then the DS after another region's data coming in.. both in the same week though...

I mean, probably it will happen in the same week when we get the numbers here...but in exact time, i guess the DS.

It's can't happen at the same time as time doesn't pass in lumps.

I have another question.... which will happen first:

DS passes PS2
or
Wii passes GBA.

Wii has a little further to go at the moment to get to the GBA ( ~50 million compared to ~40 million) but the GBA isn't a moving target like the PS2.

My personal guess for Wii passing GBA is May-June 2010
for DS > PS2... I find that very difficult to guess, if it can keep it's momentum through 2009 then it won't be too far behind, but it also depeds on PS2s continued sales... So I would guess Wii passes GBA first.
