So how much do we think that the 360 will beat the PS3 this week?

We already know that Weekend sales were up 100 percent all SKUs, with the Arcade being 6x higher.  Also, in Japan, the price cut is in effect, and there is a restock of 360s, and Infinite Undiscovery's first day sales were for 70k.

So predict how much 360 and PS3 will sell in each territory, and how much PS3 will lose by this week.  I'll post my respons after I see others.

I would say something around 55 to 70k.

with ps3 as the first number ofcourse, so i don't think the ww gap will be that big.

Considering everyone that held out on a 360 in the past+a slew of new buyers, I'd say my number is realisitic.

Overall? 20k-30k maybe...I hope for MS's sake that I'm wrong, because if I'm right and that's all the price drop does for them, they'll end up in last place week-over-week really soon again.

Hard to say, kinda depends on how the PS3 performs as well but it has nothing to really drive sales right now so they'll likely remain level.
I'll go with 65K ww in favour of the 360.

Edit: The joy will be short though, the PS3 should be back above one or to weeks later by a decent margin I think.

America the 360 will slam the PS3. i say 120,000 to 60,000
Europe PS3 victory for sure. 74,000 to 54,000
Japan 360 remember is supply constrained. I say about even.

Overall that gives the 360 a 40k win. I will remind everyone of my prediction when i am proved correct
