However I begin to doubt you play games at all if you are defending the Wii's drought of software at this point. Its great that Wii owners like to replay the same games, even without online play or leaderboards for most...but that is definetly a different "market" of gamers nintendo is going after...compared to where I'm at.

I define success by potential for continued profit, as does any company that wants to survive. Profit in the short-term is meaningless if you have no way to ensure future profits. The Wii Four are making Nintendo obscene profit, and show promise of continued profit for a very long time. Sorry if they're not compatible with your tastes, but quite frankly, the industry panders to the tastes of the hardcore enough as it is.
