What?  No we don't.  The graphical standard is still held by Gears of War.  Killzone 2 as it develops further from it's alpha build has a chance to pass it, but right now you cannot say that the PS3 is capable of better graphics till we have some evidence.


Killzone 2 will be proof in just about a couple of minutes, gamespot seeing actual gameplay, have already stated that killzone 2 looks BETTER than gears at SOME areas. So I guess accordin to gamespot killzone looks better than gears. Also look at haze?

 That doesn't prove anything...you're saying the PS3 version will look better...based on...what?  Some G4 guy hinting at something he hasn't seen?

It very well could...and probably should look better on the PS3.  But it might not...and with the current multiplatform track record, it could even look better on 360...so don't make assumptions, you might disappoint yourself.

Gamespot is entitled to their opinion, but as a fromer graphic technologist I saw a lot of glaring issues in the video.  Framerate drops, clipping, bad cloth effects, limited character detail (excpet facial expressions, which were some of the best I have ever seen).  Anyway, it's starting!
