Im not posting here to brag this is the truth, in year 2009 the 2 that will compete was the Wii and the PS3. But how long will the PS3 can hold?

I dont like what Ninty is heading with this "gaming revolution" but we must accept the the core gaming is dying and we are a part of this dying generation. Even some of us owned a Wii.

How can someone post so far off topic, so wrong, so often, not be banned by now?

I just add it, since the thread ITSELF is offtopic, it should be the review of NHL now it turned out to be if the Wii games really do sell or not. So why not give my opinion on the topic? And yeah, by the year 2009 the 360 will be a niche console like the GC in the last generation...

The facts are in here already, the PS3 is outselling the 360 even how much MS do about it.

And yeah, its a fact that the core gaming is a dying generation even Ninty dont care anymore about the core anyone seen the E3 conference this year?

edit: And yeah, since we're discussing about pro-sports games here, sports games are like resident hazard says "casual titles" so sport titles fit Wii perfectly. I mean, why do Wii Sports, mario and Sonic and Deca Sports and Beach sports from THQ sold well anyway? Again, sorry for the 360 fans out here. If by year 2009 Im wrong then so be it, but this generation wasnt really for the 360.

Like I said, it doesnt mater anymore if its good or not, it will sell otherwise. Casuals dont care about the reviews like we do. And it will sell even mario himself advertising this game its a fact.

After reading the comments on IGNs review I'm pretty skeptical about the review. The reviewer said there was no create a player, but apparently there IS that feature (2K even posted in the comments). Makes me wonder how much time went into the review when such an obvious mistake was made. Especially considering IGN claims to only review final versions. I smell a lazy reviewer.

 

Exactly my point. Rent the game, see if its good or crap for yourself.  =)

Alright. Normally I get angry when people talk badly about the graphics on the Wii since that is not the strong point of the console but this game "looks" atrocious. It's too bad because I am a hockey fan and would consider this if it were any good at all.

I'm not surprised, I watched a couple gameplay videos of it, and the visuals look worse than my copy of 2K5 on the PS2... lots of clipping and the framerate can be very jittery. Motion controls are worthless if the rest of the game doesn't hold up well, and no online? I'll wait till next year.
