Not much that interests me honestly.
Then again it was the same last year, and then we got the first SSBB trailer after I wasn't expecting any new stuff anymore.

A for nongamer appeal, B- for gamers
Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)
By the way, when they were talking about online, the video wall was showing The EA games, Mario Kart and SSBB on the right side. A hint maybe?

Honestly, this is like saying the Coke company really screwed up, because they didn´t show any Pepsi.
did anyone think, Nintendo would announce hardcore games when they try to get the attention of the press?
WiiFit is smart, really, but I was disappointed. Mario Kart was a good surprise, even though we kind of knew it was coming, but I was hoping to see Disaster: Day of Crisis. But anyway, at least we know they meant business when they said the big three were all coming out this year.
It was a "meh" conference for this Wii owner. I was more excited with Atlus' announcement of Trauma Center: New Blood.

It looks like this boards were a better site without you. WAY better. |
Hell. I didnt even say 'nintendo sucks' This E3 has sucked so far is all I'm saying. They did better than microsoft... But you gotta rember that you cant loose to microsoft this year. It was that damn bad.
They failed at entertaing the gamers. At least that's what G4 seems to be saying, quite a few of you guys are sayng.
And E3 is all about entertaing the gamers.
To fail at that, is to fail.

Yes The Source, me too! I'm exciting about how 3rd parties will respond and what they have in store for the WII. But this sounds like a very good start now I think of it... just keep in mind... WII Zapper and WII Fit are devices which can create a whole new level for developers in gaming, you already heard Reggie saying that.

Imagine using the Wii Board with the Zapper to play a FPS.
Geez, that would be off the scale, pardon the pun!
| mrstickball said: carlos, don't flame Kwaad. Either way, I do agree with Kwaad. Nintendo could of gone in for the MS/Sony kill, and thus far, has failed in that. They've done what MS did and just show alot of their upcoming already-known major IPs, just with more gusto. Wii Health/Fit or whatever could do great, but I'd of prefered Nintendo to announce something that wasn't "wii want your overweight family to play" and more of the classic inventive E-rated uber-gaming of years past. Oh well. Now can Sony carry the day, or can they? |
Ninty did go in for the Kill, games like Wii fit are going to be like the brain age equivalent for the Wii

I hope so...
