Quote me on it then.  People keep saying "The Wii is going to reach 50%!" and "The PS3 will pass 25%" but the fact is that it's unreaslitic for either of these things to happen this year.

360 = 25%

I expect about 51% for the Wii, 26% for X360 and 23% for PS3

Last year, between September 1st 2007 and January 5th 2008 we saw the following sales:

PS3: 4.56m

360: 4.89m

Wii:  8.32m

Almost 18 million total.  So why do you think that this year, with lower PS3 and 360 prices and much faster sales overall that we'll sell fewer?

 

 

another post said that at 20+ million consoles, the wii would only need to take 50%. here it is less than 50% and not only that but the 360 will be at 200$ and the ps3 will be on a lot of wishlists as the biggest presents people get in the year is on christmas.
