Console percentages after xmas?

Last year, between September 1st 2007 and January 5th 2008 we saw the following sales:

PS3: 4.56m

360: 4.89m

Wii:  8.32m

Almost 18 million total.  So why do you think that this year, with lower PS3 and 360 prices and much faster sales overall that we'll sell fewer?

 

 

another post said that at 20+ million consoles, the wii would only need to take 50%. here it is less than 50% and not only that but the 360 will be at 200$ and the ps3 will be on a lot of wishlists as the biggest presents people get in the year is on christmas.
