Im gonna play my asshole + apathy card on this one and just say that there's over 6 billion people on earth, one uneducated kid shoots himself, not that big of a deal, too bad he didn't accidentally shoot his parents, natural selection and all.

Only 3 things come into mind:
1. Why was the kid allowed to play Halo? The age ratings aren't just for fun in the box.
2. Why was the gun loaded?
3. Why in the hell an 11 years old kid had an access to a gun?

maybe it wasn't Halo, but the frustration of the 100th RROD that drove him to kill himself.

i think the Halo inclusion is just to hide the fact that some idiot parent (possibly a hill billy) has allowed their kid to run around playing with a real gun!?!?!?!?! Obviously, commonsense has taken a back seat in that household. It is even more astonishing that the parents were questioned on why this kid is allowed to play with e real gun day in and day out for the fun of it. Had he not shot himself, he could have shot a whole bunch of other people. Funny people!

First off, why is an 11 year old kid playing an M-rated game in the first place?
Second, how and why did that kid have easy access to the gun?

If you ask me, the parents are to blame for this, not video games!
