Forums - Microsoft - Boy Kills Himself Trying to be Master Chief

Maybe he was imitating Kurt Cobain?

Guns should be better locked away in homes. I wont say guns are bad (even though Im an archer instead - much quieter ;) ), but precautions have to be made to keep them out of kids' reach. When Iw as like 14 I knew where my dad's gun was, and took it out. Took bullets too, in a seperate pocket. I was pissed and planning to carjack someone. My friends were a little freaked out and talked me out of it, and it never happened.I returned the gun unnoticed. But think how bad that coulda gone down. Not a good idea for kids to get their hands on guns unless in a supervised situation like a shooting range, with a trainer or responsible adult guiding them.

With every passing day I am more and more convinced that there should be a license for having kids. Unless you can prove that you can take care of kids you cant have them. There are way too many idiots left in charge of children.

I don't think that I would be going out on a limb to say that a very high percentage of pregnancies aren't planned.

So, I'll do you one better: I think that when a male reaches a certain age he should be required by law to get a vasectomy. If he and his spouse of choice pass the requirements and are able to get a license (for having children), then the vasectomy is reversed. Ta-da! No more unplanned pregnancies!

No, I'm not joking.

Or just have the woman have her tubes tied. 90% of vasectomy reverses fail.

C'mon, any avid halo player has sniped them self in the head at least once, he just wanted to be that great in real life.

Moral: Don't let immature kids play with real guns.

fixed for you

No, you probably shouldn't let kids play with real guns period.

Actually, you shouldn't let anyone play with guns, period. Guns are not toys. They are not to be played with. However, when using them for work, they are quite fun. However, just because something is fun, great, and excellent, doesn't mean it's a toy.

A computer, for instance, is fun, great, and excellent, but it isn't a toy.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

All he had to do was let his shields charge first.

Is it horrible that I laughed at this? lol

And the first person that popped into my head when I read this was this kid

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

One of the parents must have worked at a range. Also, parents use video games as a scapegoat so that they aren't blamed? The problem is that the world is already in a bad situation with all of the war and famine going on in several countries and just pointing fingers at each other will make matters worse. It's not really anyone's fault perse. It's just that we are in a situation where we don't know how to get out of it. People are already scared due to the North Koreans having access to neculear waepons and with events like 9/11.

It's called natural selection people. Sorry but even at 11 I knew that guns killed people, and I grew up on video games too. So I never would have "played" with a gun, just as much as I would never "play" with a samurai sword.

so true. i feel bad for the kid, but how could somebody be that stupid. i used to imitate zelda all the time when i was 5 6 7 8 9, whatever. but i always used a fucking stick for a sword.

Am i missingn somethi kkid is 11 isn't Halo rated M(17+)?

That doesn't really matter.

yes it does actually. do you think that M is just sitting there for decoration? if he never played halo, it probably never would have happened. kids are very impressionable and the M is there just for these types of instances. since this game is rated M, it takes ALL of the blame off of bungie and microsoft and puts it 100% on the parents.

Parents fault. Now they regret letting their kid HAVE A GUN. Maybe they should have taught him PLAYING WITH A LOADED GUN WITH THE SAFETY OFF IS AN UNSAFE THING.

You do know that safeties fail sometimes, right? anyway, this article is stupid and wrong...

Halo is T rated at best(even the most graphic parts of the game are fairly tame).  They just put the M rating there because of ESRB's "if there is any sight of blood in the game, that said game will be rated M" policy

Hmm, interesting... Where do you get your information from, I read on wikipedia that 50-70% of vasovasostomy cases are effective. The tubes tied procedure is, however, final.
