Forums - Sony - Eternal Sonata ps3 boxart...

Yes, they're actually making new cover art for the ps3 versions of this game.

NA:

JP:

They seem to be going with a nightime motif, compared to broad daylight like the 360 covers. I suppose the shades of blue go better with the ps3 logo, while the bright greens of the grass from the 360 version went better with the 360 logo.

I prefer the Japanese version.  The NA one is too busy, like most NA cover arts.

Eh, I don't get all the trophy/achievement hype, but I suppose it would be better to have them than to not.

^ Very much agreed. Trophies!!

Also, the boxart's kinda meh, but at least the blue-ish feel is better than the green of the 360 boxart. They did well enough though, with all versions' boxart, given that this game probably doesn't have much "cover material" content to work with.

That said, I'm gonna get this game, can't wait to play an HD jrpg.

I did prefer the 360 boxart I must say

Is this an rpg.

where did you get these from?

and wierd that the NA version has ingame characters that are a bit pixelized (probably photo size though) while the JP version has a nice drawing and looks a lot more authentic....

Hmm every single Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell boxarts looks meh to me. I think the PS3 Jap boxart is the best of all.

ABOUT FRICKIN TIME.... This is the last time I'm gonna wait for a timed-exclusive....

Aye, it is. The boxart is bad - only a little better than the 360 one, because of the better colours.
