y for yes
n for no
H.Y. for hell yeah
H.N. for hell no
my answer:
n

I don't think they will solely because it will only be one day's worth of Price cut in the mix. But I expect them to the week after that.

Whatever the 360 picks up in America will be covered by European and Japanese PS3 sales. People are really overestimating the effects of the price cut. Besides next weeks data will only over one day of price Cut 360 sales.
I also don't think it'll win the week after next week when all the days are including Price Cut numbers.
it will be very dangerous for microsoft if ps3 would sell best ... especially after a price drop on a territory where the Xbox brand is strong ...
at this point we can say that the 360 has failed ... I do not want to, but I think crosoft a little arrogant for some time ... wait and see...

Should be pending availability, although I have to say over the last several weeks, the one console I've consistently seen available at retail is the Xbox (at least one of its SKUs). The only shortages I noted were on the 20GB SKUs after the inventory clearing sale was in effect.
If the Xbox doesn't see a significant NA sales increase over the next 2-3 weeks, it means one of two things:
- MS did not properly stuff inventory channels in preparation of the predicted increase in demand due to the lower price points (we will see retail outlets having trouble keeping stock on hand/sold out).
- Demand for the 360 platform has peaked and 2008 will be its last big holiday season (subsequent sales will plateau, leading to the inevitable decrease in 2009).
n, cause one day of price cuts wont do too much. but the week after that...EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
