looks like a cross between the DS and an iPhone

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Not likely. The DS needs no significant refresh like this, and even if it did, it would have been announced already with a release date that soon.

No, this is just like all the other rumors: wishful thinking by PSP fanboys.
